Bead Soup Party Piece

And here it is...




I'm not actually completely done.  I still hope to oxidize this piece and polish it with steel wool but I ran out of time.  The dragonfly clasp is actually to the side on this piece which is something new for me.  I also added a Green Girl Studios pewter bird bead to add a bit more silver tone.  The chain is made with copper (of course, the metal I love!) and all the beads are from my Bead Soup Party stash except for the bird bead.  Lots of loops and twisting metal amongst some gorgeous lampwork, jasper, and citrine beads.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to my Bead Soup Party partener in crime, Julie at RockerJewlz.  She gave me such a gorgeous array of beads to work with so I was very lucky.

  6. Nice work, Leslie! You really enhanced the depths of light in the lampwork beads by adding the soft cream & pink pearl dangles and using copper wire. Pretty!
