Check Out This Wire Work

I was looking through my usual blogs this morning and happened upon Joslin Jewels post.  I've never been a fan of pyrite.  For some reason it has always looked cheap to me like it's trying to be gold or something ;) .  I was blown away when I saw her earrings made with pyrite and black spinel.  What an amazing combination!

This girl knows how to do such creative wire work.   And that's not all!  Take a look at this.

I can't even begin to guess how in the world she made this or even came up with the idea that she could.  Bravo!  And the colors are so perfect for paisley, right?  Keep up the great work, Joslin!  We can't wait to see what else you come up with.

    what a coincidence! I commented on these earrings myself on Flickr! Love them. They reminded me of the costume and set design of Chronicles of Riddick. I'm not a Vin Diesel groupie or sci fi geek or anything, but I REALLY liked the artistic them in that movie-black, gunmetal, silver, gold, bronze. Eventually want to do some pieces based on that film. Loving the pyrite too! The black makes it seem luxurious.

    I think I've seen her work on Etsy - recognize her style right away because it is AMAZING!!! I especially love the blue paisley necklace- it's out of this world gorgeous! :-)
